New Delhi: About 81,300 residential units out of the 6.56 lakh units that are lying unsold in the top 7 cities of the country at the end of third quarter (Q3) of 2019 are ready for possession, according to ANAROCK Property Consultants.
Mumbai has the highest number of ready-to-move in flats wit about 21,000 units. It is followed by Delhi NCR with 16,800 units and Pune with 14,260 units.
Almost 35 percent or about 28,830 units of the 81,300 unsold ready houses are in the affordable category priced at less than Rs 40 lakh.
In the mid-price segment of homes costing between Rs 40 lakh and Rs 80 lakh, around 26,180 units or 32 percent of unsold stock is ready for possession.
Almost 20 percent of around 16,290 ready for possession unsold housing units are in the price range of Rs 80 lakh and Rs 1.5 crore.
