“In India, the number of female founders has been crawling upwards since 2015—it went from 9 percent that year to 11 percent in 2017 to 14 percent in 2018, according to Nasscom.  While this is a positive growth trajectory, it’s not nearly good enough. I believe that women are underrepresented in the entrepreneurship ecosystem and we are extremely happy to partner with Google Developers Launchpad for the Launchpad Women Founders Summit. This event will give them an opportunity to connect, engage, and learn from other women entrepreneurs at various stages of their journey,” said Pranay Gupta, Co-Founder, 91springboard.
