New Delhi: ACC Ltd today reported 18 percent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 273 crore for the fourth quarter ended 31 December 2019 as compared to Rs 232 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The net sales of the company increased 5 percent to Rs 3,970 crore in the fourth quarter ended 31 December 2019 as against Rs 3,789 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, it said in a statement.
For the entire fiscal 2019, the consolidated net profit of the cement maker jumped 35 percent to Rs 1,378 crore as compared to Rs 1,020 crore in the previous fiscal.
The net sales of the company for the entire fiscal 2019 increased 6 percent at Rs 15,343 crore as compared to Rs 14,477 crore in the previous financial year.
The EBITDA went up 11 percent in the fourth quarter of the 2019 fiscal at Rs 541 crore as compared to Rs 488 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
The sales volume of cement stood at 28.89 million tonnes for the 2019 fiscal as compared to 28.37 million tonnes in the previous fiscal, an increase of 2 percent.
The sales volume of ready-mix concrete stood at 3.53 million cubic meters in the 2019 fiscal as compared to 3.16 million cubic meters in the previous fiscal, an increase of 12 percent. The company commissioned 15 new ready-mix concrete plants in the 2019 fiscal which resulted in volume growth.
The board of company recommended payment of dividend of Rs 14 per share aggregating to Rs 263 crore.
