New Delhi, November 17, 2024 — ACME Sun Power Private Limited, a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Limited, has secured a ₹3,753 crore term loan from REC Limited to develop and construct 320 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects in Rajasthan and Gujarat.
The projects, in collaboration with SJVN, represent a major step forward in India’s green energy transition.
The solar capacity will be established in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, while wind sites are planned for Bhuj and Jam Khambhaliya in Gujarat.
Grid connectivity has been secured, and the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SJVN is already in place. Land acquisition is in advanced stages, with REC Limited serving as the sole lender, showcasing confidence in ACME Solar’s execution capabilities.

The project marks another milestone for ACME Solar, which recently secured financing for a 250 MW FDRE project. These developments align with India’s renewable energy aspirations, providing clean and sustainable power solutions.
