New Delhi: Home Rental startup Nestaway Technologies has cut one-time charges by as much as 50 percent for anyone shifting to its homes during the current coronavirus crisis.
“Young folks in PGs in cities are caught between a rock and a hard place during these times. On one hand, most of them are from small towns and can’t go back home as their homes may not have broadband to avail work from home,” Amarendra Sahu, CEO and Cofounder of Nestaway, said in a statement.
Under the plan, Nestaway will offer its inventory of 6,000 homes and 4,500 private rooms in 19 cities to tenants at lower prices and with special terms till the current situation normalizes.
“If things worsen further, we will work with our owners to make it further affordable,” Sahu said.
Nestaway has tied up with owners of 1/2/3 BHK houses and offers tenants the option to select a complete home or a private room in that house to rent at a fraction of the full house rent.
