Delhi NCR Will Take 44 Months To Clear Current Stock Of Unsold Housing Property: ANAROCK

New Delhi: The unsold property overhang in Delhi NCR has come to 44 months in second quarter (Q2) of the 2019 as compared to 65 months in the same period of 2017, according to a report by ANAROCK Property Consultant. 

The Delhi NCR market had a total of 1.82 lakh unsold units at the end of Q2 2019.

Of this, Gurgaon had 56,550 units (about 31 percent share)-the highest in the region. Greater Noida was next with 50,800 unsold units (around 28 percent share).

Gurgaon had about Rs 80,570 crore worth of unsold stock while Greater Noida had Rs 26,720 crore worth of inventory.

The unsold properties in Gurgaon mostly belong to the luxury segment against mostly affordable properties in Greater Noida as the difference between unsold units is less in comparison to their overall value.

 

Greater Noida’s inventory overhang dropped from 82 months in Q2 of 2017 to 39 months in Q2 of 2019. This was followed by Gurgaon which saw it declining from 80 months in Q2 of 2017 to about 51 months in Q2 of 2019.
