New Delhi: Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd (DHFL) on Thursday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 934.31 crore in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to Rs 313.72 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.
The total come of the company 2436.88 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 3331.93 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, it said in a regulatory filing.
The standalone net profit of the company stood at Rs 934.35 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal as against Rs 313.60 crore in the corrrponding period of the previous fiscal.
The standalone total income of the company stood at Rs 2436.90 crore in the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal as against Rs 3331.93 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The results are not comparable as the company is undergoing insolvency proceedings.
Government has started Serious Fraud Investigation Office investigation against the company. The Enforcement Directorate has also started investigation against the company in connection with the loans given by the company to some dubious borrowers.
DHFL was admitted for insolvency proceedings on 2 December 2019.
In November, the Reserve Bank of India superseded the board of DHFL and appointed Subramaniakumar as its administrator.
