DLF Ltd’s Net Profit Jumps 24% For Q3FY20

New Delhi: Realty player DLF Ltd’s consolidated net profit jumped 24 percent to Rs 414.01 crore for the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal as compared to Rs 335.15 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

DLF Ltd’s total income declined 36 percent to Rs 1,533.34 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 2,405.89 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.

Even with a significant fall in total income, the net profit jumped because an exceptional gain of Rs 231 crore during the latest quarter.

“The company received good response for its ready to occupy premium project – The Ultima in Gurugram. It clocked sales of about Rs 800 crore from the Phase 2 launch; the project now is 90 per cent sold out. The company continues to remain focused on monetization of its completed inventory,” DLF said in a statement.

The EBITDA of the company stood at Rs 420 crore in the latest quarter. The company clocked net sales of Rs 731 crore in the December quarter. It achieved a gross leasing of 1.33 million square feet and net leasing of 0.44 million square feet. 

DLF declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.20 per share.
