Elan Group Marks Labour Day with Worker Welfare Drive

In a gesture of solidarity on International Labour Day, the Elan Foundation—the philanthropic arm of Elan Group—extended support to approximately 3,500 construction workers across five of its major project sites in Gurugram. The initiative saw the distribution of hygiene essential kits aimed at promoting health and well-being among site labourers.

The projects covered under this outreach include Elan The Emperor and Elan The Presidential in Sector 106, Elan Imperial in Sector 82, Elan Paradise in Sector 50, and Elan Empire in Sector 66.

In an official statement, Elan Group acknowledged the central role of its workforce in realising its architectural ambitions. “Today, we celebrate not just their hard work but their vital role in making our projects a reality,” the Group noted. “This initiative is a small token of our gratitude, reflecting our continued commitment to creating a working environment that upholds dignity, respect and safety.”

The initiative also witnessed collaboration with Leighton India, Elan’s construction partner at Sector 106, which provided nutritious food kits and organised recreational activities such as volleyball, carrom and cricket. These efforts were aimed at enhancing worker engagement and promoting physical well-being.

The Elan Group’s welfare outreach is part of a broader framework that incorporates stringent health and safety measures across its construction sites. Each location is equipped with medical facilities including an on-site doctor, first-aid provisions, and an ambulance. The Group also maintains partnerships with two local hospitals for additional medical support.

Worker safety is further bolstered through mandatory induction sessions for all new labourers, followed by regular safety refreshers. An on-site safety park provides continuous education on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols. Infrastructure measures such as secure working platforms, perimeter safety walls, safety screens for height-related tasks, and dust suppression mechanisms like mist fans and wheel dusters, are in place to safeguard worker health.

With an emphasis on community, care, and construction excellence, Elan Group’s Labour Day initiative aligns with its broader vision of creating inclusive and sustainable project ecosystems.
