New Delhi: An FIR has been filed against infra major Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and its workers by Bangalore International Airport Ltd Police for an alleged attack by the company workers on the police. It is also alleged that L&T workers vandalized a patrol vehicle at Bengaluru airport.
The police said that the workers of L&T were fighting with the officers of the company at the L&T colony near the airport to allow them to leave and go their home states.
The police said that there were about 400 workers who were agitated and attacked the police personnel also when the police reached the L&T colony. The police said that the workers started pelting stones on the police personnel and on the patrol vehicle.
The police had to call for additional personnel to bring the situation under control. The FIR has been filed by the police against the infrastructure company and its staff for unlawful assembly and mischief causing damage.
