New Delhi: Gaursons Hitech Infrastructure, a company of real estate player Gaurs Group, has been served a notice by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) over laying down of green colour carpet in the area which is earmarked for natural grass mandatorily in one its residential projects, according to a news report on ETRealty.com.
The news report also says that this is the third time that a notice has been served to the company in two years. he builder has not installed natural grass till date.
A resident of sixth (6th) avenue of Gaursons City Ranjeet Singh had made a complaint to GNIDA saying that the builder has laid artificial green colour carpet instead of the mandatory natural grass.
Anita Prajapati, another residents of the project, alleged, “The builder has also constructed concrete parking in part of the mandatory green area, which also violates the environment protection act 1986,”.
Basis the complaints, the authority inspected the project and found that the builder of was in violation of the norms.
Amit Sharma, another resident of the same project, said, “We also gave an application to the authority on September 9 pleading that only issuing notice will not serve the purpose as two years have passed. We demand that OC should be declared ‘on-hold’ till all conditions are met”.
ETRealty.com said that it did not receive any response from Gaurs Group to a detailed query by it till the time of publishing the news report.
