Godrej Properties Sees 44% Jump In Booking Value Of New Area Sales In H1FY20

New Delhi: Godrej Properties has recorded a 44 percent jump in booking value of the new area sales in the first half of current fiscal as compared to the same period of the previous fiscal. The company achieved booking value of Rs 2,343 crore in the first half of the ongoing financial year as against Rs 1,627 crore in the same period of last fiscal.

The jump in the area sold in the first half of the current fiscal has been 61 percent as compared to the corresponding period of the last financial year. The company sold about 36 lakh sq ft of space in the first half of the current fiscal as against 22.3 lakh sq ft in the corresponding period of the last financial year.

In the month of September 2019, the company launched 4 residential projects-Godrej South Estate (in NCR), Godrej Seven (in Kolkata), Godrej Nirvaan (in Thane near Mumbai) in Godrej Hillside 1 (in Pune).

The company’s net profit increased 50 percent to Rs 31 crore for the second quarter of the current financial year. The total income of the company declined 22 percent to Rs 370 crore in the same period.
