Godrej Properties’s consolidated net profit drops 36% to Rs 101.08 cr fro Q4FY20

New Delhi: Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) has clocked 36 percent drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 101.08 crore for the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 156.66 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

The revenue from operations jumped 10.4 percent to Rs 1,163.05 crore in for the fourth quarter of 2019-20 fiscal as compared to Rs 1,053.09 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

GPL’s booking value jumped 10 percent to Rs 2,383 crore in the latest quarter. The total area sold in the latest quarter dipped marginally by 3 percent at 36.10 lakh square feet. 

The company’s EBITDA dropped 6.9 percent to Rs 155.45 crore in the latest quarter. The margin shrunk 248 basis points to 13.36 percent.

For the financial year 2019-20, the company’s consolidated net profit rose 5.6 percent to Rs 267.21 crore as compared to Rs 253.15 crore in the previous fiscal. The revenue from operations dropped 13.3 percent to Rs 2,441.42 crore as compared to Rs 2,817.40 crore in the previous year, the company said in a regulatory filing.
