New Delhi: Godrej Properties Ltd has reported a 44 percent decline in area sold in the third quarter of the current fiscal as compared to the same quarter of the previous financial year. The company sold 15.83 lakh square feet space in the third quarter of the current financial year as compared to 28 lakh square feet in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
The booking value also went down by 22 percent in the in the third quarter of the current fiscal as compared to the same quarter of the previous financial year. The company clocked a booking value of Rs 1,189 crore in the in the third quarter of the current fiscal as against Rs 1,158 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year, according to its investor presentation.
However, on a 9-month basis, the company saw a growth on both the parameters. Godrej Properties registered three percent growth in the area sold in the first nine months of the current financial year as compared to the corresponding period of the previous financial year. It sold 51.89 lakh square feet of space in the first nine months of the ongoing financial year as compared to 50.40 square feet space sold in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
The booking value was recorded at Rs 3,532 crore for the first nine months of the ongoing fiscal as against Rs 3,155 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, a growth of 12 percent.
The company achieved a total booking area of 15.68 square feet for residential segment and 0.14 lakh square feet for commercial segment in the third quarter of the current fiscal. The booking value achieved by the company stood at Rs 1,142 crore for the residential segment and Rs 47 crore for the commercial segment in the third quarter of the current fiscal.
The company added four new residential projects in the latest quarter with a total saleable area of 12.7 million square feet. Company’s housing project Godrej Nest in Mumbai clocked booking value of Rs 221 crore in the latest quarter.
