New Delhi: For construction of a Ceremonial Lounge at Tirupati Airport, the Union Cabinet today approved allotment of 1,800 sq mtr of Airports Authority of India’s land to Andhra Pradesh Education and Welfare Infrastructure Development Corporation(APEWIDC).
The land will be allotted for 15 years at a nominal rate of license fee of Re 1per annum. The Ceremonial Lounge will be maintained by APEWIDC.
The lounge will provide better amenities to the VVIPs and VIPs visiting the temple of Tirupati.
