New Delhi: Building and construction material maker HIL Ltd’s consolidated net profit went down declined 22 percent to Rs 40.63 crore in the quarter ended June 2019 as compated to Rs 52.04 crore in the corresponsing quarter of the previsu fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.
The net sales of the company jumped 54 percent at Rs 763.80 crore in the latest quarter as compared to Rs 496.22 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year.
HIL Ltd, part of CK Birla Group, has a number of roofing, cladding and other construction material solutions. It has 24 manufacturing locations including the ones in Germany and Austria. It is world’s biggest manufacturer and seller of fibre cemnt roofing. It also has Orient Fans and Orient Paper brands.
