Hyderabad, Kolkata See Massive Drop In Homes Sales In Q3, 2019

New Delhi: With a slowdown in the economy and job prospects remaining bleak for quite some time in the country, the sales of housing properties have gone down in all seven top cities of the country with Hyderabad and Kolkata leading the pack, according to ANAROCK Property Consultants.

Hyderabad saw sales of 3,280 units in Q3 of 2019 as compared to 4,850 units in 2018, a drop of 32 percent.

Kolkata saw sales of 3,120 units in Q3 of 2019 as compared to 4,290 units in Q3 of 2018, a drop of 27 percent.

Delhi NCR saw sales of 9,830 units in Q3 of 2019 as compared to 11360 units in Q3 of 2018, a drop of 13 percent.

Mumbai Metropolitan Region saw sales of 17,180 units in Q3 of 2019 as compared to 18,180 units in Q3 of 2018, a decline of six percent.

Chennai saw sales of 2,620 units in Q3 of 2019 as compared to 2,930 units in Q3 of 2018, a decline of 11 percent.

Pune saw sales of 8,550 units in Q3 of 2019 as compared to 9,290 units in Q3 of 2018, a decline of eight percent.
