IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd’s Profit After Tax Drops 27% For Q3FY20

New Delhi: IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd’s consolidated profit after tax dropped 27 percent to Rs 159.73 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal as against Rs  218.90 crore in the same quarter for the previous fiscal.

The total income of the company dropped to Rs 1,790.17 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 1,835.02 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.

“Our execution pace continues to be strong and the quarter marked a return of traffic growth – presumably led by slight pick-up in economic activity across India. With Goa Kundapur project getting commissioned, all of our projects are now revenue generating,” said Virendra D Mhaiskar, Chairman and Managing Director, IRB Infrastructure.

The total expenses of the company jumped to Rs 1,534.36 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 1,446.82 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
