Jaideep Ahlawat, Jyoti Hooda Buy Rs 10 Crore Apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri West

Actor Jaideep Ahlawat and his wife Jyoti Hooda have purchased a premium residential apartment in Andheri West, Mumbai, for Rs. 10 crore, according to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) Maharashtra portal. The transaction was officially registered in May 2025.

The property is located in Poorna Apartments, a residential complex situated in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. The apartment spans a carpet area of 1,950 sq. ft. (~181 sq. m.) and a built-up area of 2,341 sq. ft. (~217.47 sq. m.). The sale includes four car parking spaces and attracted a stamp duty of Rs. 60 lakh and registration charges of Rs. 30,000, according to the documents.

Andheri West continues to hold strong appeal among celebrities, professionals, and investors due to its strategic location. Positioned between Mumbai’s key business districts and entertainment zones, the area benefits from connectivity via the Western Express Highway, Link Road, SV Road, and the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro line. Over time, Andheri West has transformed into a bustling hub blending commercial and residential infrastructure, featuring modern office spaces, co-working zones, high-end retail, entertainment centres, and premium housing.

Ahlawat is known for his work in Hindi cinema and digital streaming platforms. He rose to prominence through notable roles in Raees (2017) and Raazi (2018), and earned critical acclaim for his performance as a police officer in the Amazon Prime series Paatal Lok (2020), for which he received the Filmfare OTT Award for Best Actor in a Drama Series. His most recent appearance was in Jewel Thief (2025) on Netflix, alongside Saif Ali Khan.

The purchase underscores the continued interest of public figures in Mumbai’s premium residential market, particularly in well-connected and high-demand localities like Andheri West.
