New Delhi: Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) consolidated net loss more than doubled at Rs 219 crore for the third quarter of the ongoing fiscal against a net loss of Rs 87 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The consolidated turnover of the latest quarter went down to Rs 9,300 crore as compared to Rs 9,566 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year.
On a consolidated basis, JSPL produced about 2.11 million tonnes of steel and related items. It has produced 1.77 million tonnes of steel and related items in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. It registered sales of 2.24 million tonnes of steel and related items. It has sold 1.73 million tones in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, said a statement by the company.
On a standalone basis, JSPL produced 1.61 million tonnes of steel and related products in the latest quarter. It has produced 1.32 million tonnes in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
