New Delhi: The net profit of Delhi-based JK Lakshmi Cement stood at Rs 49.72 crore in the second quarter of current fiscal 2019-20 as against a loss of Rs 5.70 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.
It total revenues of the company increased 5 percent at Rs 1,018.11 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 973.95 crore that was recorded in the corresponding quarter last year.
“Company’s efforts to reduce the logistic cost, optimising the product mix and improved efficiency parameters enabled the company to boost its profitability.” It said in a statement.
With the commissioning of its grinding unit at Cuttack, with eight lakh tonnes capacity, the company’s cement capacity stands at 117 lakh tonnes.
