Real estate conglomerate K Raheja Corp recently organized Wheels of Kindness, a unique employee-driven initiative under its Time Off for Volunteering policy. The initiative brought together employees from Mindspace Business Parks REIT, Chalet Hotels Ltd., Inorbit Malls, and K Raheja Corp Homes to assemble and donate wheelchairs to Cheshire Homes, an NGO that has empowered over 2,000 individuals with disabilities across India by enhancing their mobility and independence.
Conducted in collaboration with Korelate Learning, a leading team-building organization, the event saw over 30 volunteers from various departments—including HR, Architecture, ESG, IT, Leasing, and Tenant Relations—participate in the effort. Working within a four-hour timeframe, they successfully assembled seven wheelchairs using provided tools, while engaging in interactive problem-solving challenges designed to enhance teamwork and engagement. Expert guidance was available throughout the session, ensuring a meaningful and impactful experience for all participants.
