Vikas Jain, CEO of Labdhi Lifestyle, has been appointed President of NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen, the youth-focused arm of the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), Maharashtra. The announcement marks a key leadership shift aimed at steering the real estate sector through its next phase of transformation, as it moves toward a projected US$1 trillion market size by 2030.
A first-generation developer from Mumbai, Jain succeeds Ridham Gada, who now takes over as Vice-Chairman of the body. Recognised for his ability to turn around stressed real estate projects, Jain is expected to bring a finance-oriented, future-ready approach to the platform. His leadership comes at a critical juncture for the industry, with rising emphasis on structured project financing, regulatory compliance, and technological adoption.
“It is an honor to lead NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen. This platform provides an incredible opportunity to empower the next generation of real estate leaders while addressing some of the industry’s most pressing challenges,” Jain stated.
He further elaborated that finance will be the central theme for the association in 2025–26, focusing on capital structuring, valuations, and improving access to diverse funding mechanisms. “The sector needs to build a credible and transparent ecosystem to attract consistent capital inflows,” he said.
Jain also underscored the importance of enhancing RERA compliance, improving governance standards, and embedding a culture of innovation and customer-centric approach across the real estate value chain. “Along with financial reforms, we must professionalize the management of real estate businesses,” he added.
