New Delhi: Heavy Civil Infrastructure Business division of Larsen & Toubro Construction has bagged two contracts worth a total of Rs 1,000-2,500 crore from the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) in Uttar Pradesh.
The orders are to build Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Infrastructure, the company said in a statement. The works include executing a dedicated, high speed and high capacity railway system on the Delhi – Gaziabad – Meerut Corridor.
The two orders are for packages starting from Duhai in Western Uttar Pradesh to Modinagar and also from Modinagar to Shatabdinagar. This will be a total distance of 32 kilometers viaduct. There will be seven elevated stations on this.
The design speed will be 180 kilometers per hour. The average operational speed will be kept at 100 kilometers per hour.
