L&T Bags Order Worth Rs 2,500-5,000 Cr From Various Indian States

New Delhi: Larsen & Toubro’s construction arm has won ‘large’ contracts worth between Rs 2,500-5,000 crore from various Indian states for different businesses. However, the company did not disclose the exact value of the contracts in the regulatory filings.

It has won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Public Health Engineering Directorate, West Bengal. The contract is for supply of water East Medinipur district. This project is being funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB).  

The company has bagged another award from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). This contract is for supplying, laying, testing and commissioning of clear water trunk main of 54 kilometer. This contract will also involve civil, electrical and mechanical works along the eastern route of Bangalore. This project is being funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The company has also bagged an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Central Organisation for Railway Electrification. It involves  electrification of 1,137 track kilometer. 

The company has also received an order from the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.
