L&T Bags Orders Worth Rs 1,000-2,500 Cr From A Clutch Of Domestic Clients

New Delhi: The buildings and factories business division of Larsen & Toubro has secured orders worth Rs 1,000-2,500 crore from a clutch of domestic clients.

The company has bagged an order from a cement company to execute and commission a manufacturing plant at Ametha in Katni, Madhya Pradesh with a production capacity of 9,500 tonnes per day.

The infra company bagged also bagged an order from a government organisation for construction of smart data centres in Chennai and Hyderabad. These data centres will have an overall built-up area of 2.68 lakh square feet. The scope of order includes engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of the data centres in the two cites, the company said in a regulatory filing. 

L&T has bagged another order from a real estate company in Bengaluru for construction of a housing project. The project will have an overall built-up area of 5 million square feet. The order includes design and construction of the entire civil structure, waterproofing, masonry and plastering for 18 towers. The project will also have two basements and ground plus 28/29 floors.
