New Delhi, November 16, 2024 — NBCC (India) Limited marked its 65th Foundation Day with a grand celebration at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, on November 15, 2024. The event was attended by Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power, Shri Manohar Lal, alongside senior dignitaries, NBCC officials, and their families.
The highlight of the event was the launch of a coffee table book titled “Abhyudya Avinya,” showcasing NBCC’s transformative journey, including the redevelopment of Nauroji Nagar into the World Trade Center, New Delhi.
Addressing the audience, Shri Manohar Lal lauded NBCC’s role in advancing India’s infrastructure, emphasizing its contributions toward realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat. He commended the company’s efforts in supporting construction workers through CSR initiatives such as medical camps and announced a celebratory lunch for workers at NBCC sites on November 16, 2024.
Secretary of Housing and Urban Affairs, Shri Srinivas Katikithala, praised NBCC’s ability to resolve market challenges and its commitment to national service. NBCC CMD, Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, reflected on the company’s milestones and its continued dedication to nation-building.
The event featured cultural highlights, including a play by employees on NBCC’s revival of the Amrapali projects, a solo performance on the company’s journey, and a captivating musical show by Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam.
