New Launches Of Residential Projects Down 13% In Latest Quarter

New Delhi: The number of new residential properties launched in third quarter (Q3) of 2019 went down by almost 13 percent as compared to the same quarter of 2018 in the top seven cities of the country. Developers launched a total of 45,230 housing units in Q3 of 2019 as against 52,130 units in Q3 of 2018, according to ANAROCK Property consultants.

Bengaluru saw launches of about 9,370 units in Q3 of 2019, a jump of about 31 percent over Q3 of 2018. The city had new launches of 7,170 units in Q3 of 2018.

Mumbai Metropolitan Region saw new launches of 14,040 units in Q3 of 2019, a decline of around 29 percent from 19,850 units in Q3 of 2018.

Delhi NCR saw new launches of 5,790 units in Q3 of 2019, up about 38 percent from 4,200 units launched in Q3 of 2018.

Pune saw new launches of about 8,320 units in Q3 of 2019, up six percent from 7,880 units launched in Q3 of 2018.

Hyderabad saw new launches of about 2,050 units in Q3 of 2019, down 51 percent from 4,150 units launched in Q3 of 2018.

Chennai saw new launches of 2,530 housing units in Q3 of 2019, a decline of 48 percent from 4,850 units in Q3 of 2018.

Kolkata saw new launches of 3,130 residential units in Q3 of 2019, down 22 percent from 4,030 units launched in Q3 of 2018.
