NHAI Issues Tenders for Rs 3,366 Cr Ahmedabad-Dholera Greenfield Alignment Project

New Delhi: National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has come out with tenders for various different packages under Ahmedabad-Dholera Greenfield Alignment project. The entire project cost is Rs 3,366 crore. 

The project involves construction of four-lane expressway from Sardar Patel Ring Road right up till Sindhrej Village, that is, from 0 km to 22.000 km of Ahmedabad-Dholera Greenfield Alignment (NH-751) in Ahmedabad district. This project will be on EPC Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-I). This will be done with an investment of Rs 774.53 crore.

The overall project also involves construction of four-lane expressway from Sindhrej village to Vejalka village, that is, from 22.000 km to 48.520 km of Ahmedabad-Dholera Greenfield Alignment (NH-751). This again will done on EPC Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-II). This will be done with an investment of Rs 913.77 crore.

The overall project also involves construction of four-lane expressway from Vejalka village to Start of DSIR Zone, that is, from 48.520 km to 71.060 km of Ahmedabad-Dholera Greenfield Alignment (NH-751). This will be done on EPC mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-III). This will be done with an investment of Rs 746.55 crore.

The overall project also involves construction of four-lane expressway from the start of the DSIR Zone of Ahmedabad district to Adhelai village of Bhavnagar district, that is, from Ch. 71.00 to Ch. 109.019 section of Ahmedabad Dholera Greenfield alignment NH-751. This will done on EPC under Bharatmala Pariyojana (Package-IV). This will be done with an investment of Rs 932.32 crore.

The overall project has to be completed in 2 years, according to NHAI.
