Office Vacancy Levels in Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata Come Down in Q2, 2019

New Delhi: The vacancy levels in office spaces have come down in Pune, Hyderabad and Kolkata in the second quarter of 2019 as compared to the same period last year, according to a report by property consultant Cushman & Wakefield.

The vacancy levels in Pune have come down to 5 percent in the June quarter of 2019 from 8.1 percent in the same quarter last year. Similarly, the vacancy levels in Hyderabad have declined to 6 percent from 7.2 percent in the same period. In Kolkata, the vacancy levels have dropped to 37.9 percent from 39.2 percent.

Apart from Pune and Hyderabad, single digit vacancies have been seen in Bengaluru in the second quarter of 2019 as compared to 2018. The IT capital of the country saw vacancy level of 5.6 percent in the latest quarter.
