New Delhi: The government is making huge efforts to help the businesses and livelihoods, said Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan,.
While speaking at video conference session organized by PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the India Office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), Muraleedharan advised everyone to understand the spirit of the lockdown, as many things are going to change in the coming future, including ways of doing business and contributing to the growth of the economy.
The session witnessed a participation of more than 100 industry players and senior members of PHD Chamber all over the country.
The minister stressed the fact that Government is doing its best by taking the right steps way before as compared to other countries, as the doubling rate of the cases of people infected with the virus in India was 8 days, from 10,000 to 20,000 while across the globe the first one lakh cases came in 90 days while another lakh came in after 8 days.
Post COVID-19, there will be a lot of opportunities for growth for the MSME sector. Ministry of External Affairs has taken measures to promote the 3Ts which are Trade, Tourism, and Technology which will boost the economy and development of the country, said Muraleedharan.
D K Aggarwal, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thanked Muraleedharan for his comforting words regards to the upliftment of the economy, also regarding the various packages that the government is working on to help the MSME sector during this crucial time.
