Rana Kapoor’s Samudra Mahal Residence Raided By Enforcement Directorate

New Delhi: Yes Bank’s Founder Rana Kapoor’s house was raided on Friday by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as part of investigation in the money-laundering case against him, according to media reports.

The case pertains to DHFL in which massive amounts of money were allegedly laundered. ED raided the Samudra Mahal residence of Kapoor.

The officials are questioning Kapoor as part of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). There are allegations that Kapoor helped in disbursal of a large loan to a company and then received kickbacks in his wife’s accounts for facilitating the deal.
