Signature Global gets Haryana government nod to restart construction

New Delhi: Realty player Signature Global has got Haryana government nod to restart construction for eight of its projects. These projects are Grand IVA Sector 103, The Roselia Sector 95A, Solera 2 Sector 107, Orchard Avenue & Orchard Avenue 2 Sector 93, Proxima Sector 89, Gurugram & Signature Global Park 3 Sector 36 Sohna South of Gurugram, and The Millennia & The Millennia 2 Sector 37D, Sunrise Sector 35, Karnal. 

Permission has been granted by the state government to start construction in single shift with a maximum of 250 workers in the lockdown period.  The number of vehicles permitted is different for different projects, the company said in a statement.

“We are grateful to the Government of Haryana for allowing us the work on construction sites. This will help us in completing the work as well as it will be good for the labourers working there. We respect the guidelines given by the government and will work accordingly,” Pradeep Aggarwal, Founder & Chairman –Signature Global Group.

As per the guidelines received, stringent actions to be taken at site to prevent contamination of COVID 19. This includes:

1 A roster to be prepared by all contractors and SGPL for staff working in office and site•

2 No more than half(1/2) of staff shall be called on any given date of office. Here will be staggered working hours at site. The safety and security personnel will report daily. Other staff will work on alternate days on (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) and(Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday) basis. 

3Contractors shall arrange daily commuter passes for their staff. There will be thermal scanning at the site entrance. Water and soaps will be kept at different places such as entrance gate, break areas and toilet facilities for hand wash.
