New Delhi: Bengaluru-based realty firm Sobha Ltd’s consolidated net profit increased by about 5 percent to Rs 73.2 crore for the third quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 69.8 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The total income of the company increased by around 12 percent to Rs 901.2 crore for the third quarter of the ongoing financial year as against Rs 807.7 crore in the corresponding time period of the previous fiscal, the company said in a regulatory filing.
While its own real estate business generated Rs 576.6 crore of revenues in the latest quarter, the contractual construction that the company carried out for other firms contributed Rs 333.1 crore revenues.
Sobha Ltd also purchased land worth Rs 85 crore in the latest quarter.
For the first nine months of the current fiscal, the consolidated net profit of the company grew 26 percent to Rs 230.8 crore as compared to Rs 183.8 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. Similarly, the total income of the company in the first nine months of the ongoing financial year jumped 38 percent to Rs 2,898.1 crore as compared to Rs 2,094 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.
