Spicejet To Set Up Warehousing Facility In Hyderabad

New Delhi: A warehousing, distribution and trading facility will be set up in the aerospace and industrial park of GMR Hyderabad Aviation SEZ Limited (GHASL). 

The facility will serve industries like aerospace and defence, automotive, pharma, FMCG and electronics and will facilitate export and import of products from Hyderabad Airport.

SpiceJet will help set up the facility at GHASL, the airline said in a statement. The facility will be set up over 33,000 square feet space and can be later expanded to 1lakh square feet. 

Spicejet has signed a MoU with GHASL. “As we expand SpiceXpress, our cargo arm, SpiceJet is proud to partner with GHASL for this first-of-its-kind initiative by an airline in India which will enhance and facilitate cargo industry in the country,” said airline Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh.

“We welcome SpiceJet at GMR Aerospace & Industrial Park. Its presence adds great value to the niche space of Free Trade Warehousing Zone,” GHASL Chief Executive Officer Aman Kapoor said on the tie-up.

GAHSL is a fully-owned subsidiary of GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited.
