New Delhi: The co-working market in Chennai is getting more compettetive with the entry of a new operator- Workeasy Space Solutions.
The firm has leased three spaces in three important sub-markets of the city- 1 lakh square feet each in Anna Salai and Rajiv Gandhi Salai and about 73,000 square feet in Guindy.
The company has already got three clients, all IT firms, for about 500 seats.
The company plans to open co-working facilities in Hyderabad and Benagluru also.
Chennai has emerged as a major co-working market in the country and a number of operators are entering the space every now and then. The flexible offices are increasingly being opted for by large companies across the world and also in India. As per a report by ANAROCK, about 20 percent of the 2.6 million square feet office space absorption in Chennai in 2019, around 20 percent went to flexible spaces.
