Worli ranks 2nd and Mahalaxmi ranks 3rd with average price of Rs 41,500 sq ft and Rs 40,000 per sq ft respectively.
Nungambakkam in Chennai ranks 4th with average price of Rs 18,000 sq ft. Egmore, again in Chennai, ranks 5th with average price of Rs 15,100 sq ft.
Karol Bagh in Delhi NCR ranks 6th with average price of Rs 13,500 sq ft. Anna Nagar in Chennai ranks 7th with average price of Rs 13,000 sq ft.
Koregaon Park in Pune ranks 8th with average price of Rs 12,500 sq ft. Golf Course Road ranks 9th with average price of Rs 12,500 sq ft.
Alipore in Kolkata ranks 10th with average price of Rs 11,800 sq ft.
These rankings are based on the average prices of all the new luxury residential units launched between 2013 and first half (H1) of 2019. Mumbai Metropolitan Region is one of the most expensive markets in the rankings of top seven cities. It has many localities with high price tags but only the top three most expensive micro-markets have been considered here.
