Logistics company Western Carriers (India) Ltd said it has secured Rs1,089 crore order from Vedanta Limited, one of the largest orders in the Indian multi-modal logistics industry.
The four-year contract until 2028 covers the transportation of aluminium ingots, billets, wire rods, pig iron, and EXIM shipments for export, the company said.

The order includes various multi-modal logistics solutions, including moving goods from Vedanta’s plants in Jharsuguda (Odisha) to key export ports, as well as major domestic hubs pan India.

As of nine months ended FY25, Western Carriers reported Rs 1,297 crore in revenue from operations, with a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 68 crore.
